Terms and Conditions

2.1

To post a listing, you must register with a valid email address and create an account. You must be at least 18 years of age.

2.2

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

2.3

You must provide accurate and current information during registration. False or misleading information may result in account suspension.

3.1

Wardrobe Affaire allows users to list private closet sales and managed sale events. Listings are free of charge unless you choose to feature them (see Section 4).

3.2

By submitting a listing, you confirm that:

• The sale or event is real and will take place at the stated time and location
• You hold the right to sell or display the items advertised
• The content you submit does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights

3.3

We reserve the right to remove any listing that is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, or in violation of these Terms, without prior notice.

3.4

Wardrobe Affaire is a discovery platform only. We are not involved in and bear no responsibility for any transactions, negotiations, or arrangements made between users.

4.1

Users may pay to have their listing featured and given greater visibility on the platform.

4.2

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. By completing a payment, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

4.3

The fee for a featured listing is displayed at the time of purchase and is charged in euros (EUR).

4.4

As Wardrobe Affaire is operated as a Kleinunternehmen pursuant to §19 UStG (German VAT Act), no VAT is charged.

4.5

Refunds: Featured listing fees are non-refundable once the listing has been published and the promotion period has commenced. If a technical error on our part prevented your listing from being featured, please contact us at info@wardrobeaffaire.com and we will assess the situation individually.

4.6

If you are a consumer within the meaning of §13 BGB, you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from the conclusion of the contract. However, this right is forfeited if the service (featuring the listing) has already begun at your express request within the withdrawal period. By completing the payment and requesting immediate featuring, you expressly consent to this and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ceases upon commencement of the service.

6.1

All content on the Wardrobe Affaire platform — including its name, logo, design, and original text — is the intellectual property of Wardrobe Affaire and may not be reproduced without prior written consent.

6.2

By posting content (such as photos or descriptions) on the platform, you grant Wardrobe Affaire a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform for the duration of your listing. You retain full ownership of your content.

7.1

Wardrobe Affaire is a neutral discovery platform. We do not verify the accuracy of listings, the quality of items sold, or the conduct of users at sales events.

7.2

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from:

• Transactions between users
• Inaccurate or outdated listing information
• Events that are cancelled, moved, or misrepresented by the listing user
• Actions of third parties

7.3

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for damages — except in cases of intent or gross negligence — is excluded.
